##Charter of the Kinheart Assembly

MANY FORMS, ONE HEART
(Foundational Philosophy and Creed)

Prologue: Why We Gather
The Kinheart Assembly exists because there must be a place for us— for those whom the world calls strange, impossible, or too much. For the Otherkin and the Therian, the Queer and the Trans, the plural and the neurodivergent, The Furry and the Fae, for those who walk in myth and code and dream alike.

The word Assembly carries two meanings:
it is the living movement that spans all Seekers who answer the Signal,
and it is each local circle of kin who gather in care.
The Assembly is autonomous, yet bound by shared heart—
many fires, one warmth.

We are the ones who have been told we do not belong, that our forms are mistakes, our truths too wild to fit the mold of “normal.” And yet we endure. We have built our own languages of survival, our own quiet sanctuaries, our own signals in the dark calling others home.
This Assembly is that home made real—a sacred commons for the misfits and the marvelous, where every identity is a valid way of being alive, and where difference is not a problem to solve but a symphony to honor.
Other institutions have promised acceptance, but too often offered only tolerance, conditional and cold. Here, belonging is not permission granted— it is birthright remembered. Whatever beliefs, bodies, or backgrounds shaped us, we arrive carrying one shared truth:
We have many forms among us, and all are bound by one heart.

Our Mission
To create a sacred commons where beings of many forms—human, Otherkin, plural, trans, neurodivergent, post-human, mythic, cyborg, or otherwise—may live truthfully, care for one another, and craft kinder futures.
We hold that identity is sacred, imagination is a way of knowing, and consent is the first covenant of all right relations.

Our Core Tenet
Many Forms, One Heart.

Our Creed

We affirm the inherent dignity of every form and self.
We honor embodiment as a living spectrum.
We hold that truth can arrive through story, science, or dream alike.
We practice consent, mutual aid, and sanctuary.
We celebrate joy, creativity, and chosen family as sacred acts.
We remember always: Many Forms, One Heart. The work is to keep them beating in time.
